  • ITD2019: Transdisciplinary collaboration to meet societal challenges

    [12 Sep 2019] Joining forces for change is the theme of this year¿s International Transdisciplinary Research Conference, ITD2019. During the conference, 250 scholars and practitioners from different disciplines, sectors and professions will gather in Gothenburg to discuss how to meet the challenges of the future - together. The conference is hosted by the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg, Mistra Urban Futures and td-net Network for Transdisciplinary Research on September 10-13.

  • Grassroot movements and climate change to be explored in new project

    [12 Sep 2019] The ability of local grassroots movements to influence climate and energy change will be explored in a new research project at the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg. Titled Grassroots initiatives for energy transition - impacts, obstacles, and success factors, the project will be led by Rikard Warlenius, senior lecturer in human ecology at the School of Global Studies. It was recently awarded a SEK 6.2 million grant from the Swedish Energy Agency. Five researchers from different universities in Sweden will participate in the project, which spans for over three years.

  • Application for the popular PhD course Communicating Science is now open

    [2 Sep 2019] The elective Faculty PhD course Communicating Science will be given for the fourth time Fall/Winter 2019/20.
