Research profile seminar

Brännpunkt Europa invites you to an interesting lunch seminar with Kilian Spandler about the threats European Union is facing regarding populism and regional cooperation.

Kilian Spandler is an International Relations researcher specializing in the role of regions in world politics. He has been a post-doctoral researcher at the School of Global Studies, University of Gothenburg, since 2017. As a co-initiator of the TRANSFORM project, he investigates how populism and new understandings of national sovereignty shape transboundary cooperation. Between 2016 and 2019, Kilian was a board member of IFAIR, an NGO that works as a platform for transnational projects launched by students and young professionals from all over the world.

The event will be held in English.
