The faculty's pedagogical prize

With the pedagocial prize, the Faculty Board of Social Sciences wishes to draw attention to cooperation among teaching colleagues.

The prize is awarded each year to a team of teachers whose work clearly aims to support students' "learning and achievement of goals" by either:

  • having developed an innovative educational concept that they have successfully implemented in their teaching

  • having been highly-regarded successful teachers for a number of years

Who can nominate?

All teachers who have taught within the Faculty Board’s area of responsibility are eligible for the Faculty of Social Sciences
teaching prize, including teachers employed outside the Faculty.

Any student or member of staff of the Faculty may nominate a candidate for the prize. The teaching prize at the Faculty of Social Sciences consists of a team prize that is awarded to a group of teachers who have worked together to develop and teach academic content at undergraduate level, graduate level or postgraduate level.

The prize

The prize is awarded in the form of a grant of SEK 100,000 which should be used for "further improvement and development" of the prizewinners' work.
